[/b] Start a topic in the "The Coliseum" area that this topic is in.
This board has a separate battle system specific to the coliseum, which can be used to earn gald and stat points providing that you can find an opponent.
- Entry Fee: 50 gald (not deducted until after battle to avoid loss for topics that go dead)
- Prizes: 200 Gald (originally 250 minus 50 for the entry fee), and a stat raise of 50 points for a parameter of the winner's choosing.
How Battles Work
[2] There is a dice UBBC icon mixed in with the others that is specific to this board (it's right between the list and spoiler buttons). When you click it, you will see the following appear in your post submission area:
[*dice=6*] (without the asterisks)
Note that this does not mean the number you roll will be six, it simply means that the dice is six sided. Do not edit this tag. A number between 1-6 will be randomly generated upon posting. This number will not change even if you edit your post and redo it.
Once the actual battle starts, put a single dice roll in your posts.
[3] Do this for four posts (two per participant), unless a different agreement has been made regarding the length of the battle.
[4] Once the four posts are done, look at the dice rolls and see which person has the highest combined total.
If there is a tie, both of you should do one more post each before recounting. And so on and so on until one person has more than the other after an even amount of posts.
[5] After this, each of you will do one more post. The person with the highest total will win the battle, and they can narrate this. The person with the lowest total will lose the battle, and they can narrate this. The person with the highest total must win and the person with the lowest total must lose.
[6] The winner will later PM the admin or a mod after the battle has been wrapped up, and they will be awarded the prizes. The entry fee 50 gald will also be deducted from the loser's account.[/ul]
Coliseum Rules
[2] There are no limitations on weapons, accessories, or armor.
[3] The battles are non-fatal. Losers aren't killed, just defeated. However, you still choose to enter at your own risk.
[4] Magic is allowed if the participant can use it, along with any other special skills they may possess.
[5] Don't argue with the dice roll results. If you lose, you lose. It's a gamble.[/ul][/size][/blockquote][rand=1325158457051116677562782393172363689364258127432270422619435274]
