Class: Summoner Age: Twenty-one Gender: Female Sexuality: Heterosexual Hometown: Mizuho - a small hidden village located in Aurem Organization: The Hunters Summary: A mysterious, albeit clumsy summoner that strives to atone for a terrible mistake made in her past. All beginners should learn this information well. ♦ Magic + 2, Attack + 1, Agility + 1 Armor: Thick Jacket (moderate): A thick, warm jacket. ♦ Defense + 4, Agility + 1 Accessories: n/a n/a Relationships: Corrine – best friend – A man-made Summon Spirit. Being the only one of his kind, Corrine's creators subjected him to many painful tests in the hopes of furthering their knowledge about Summon Spirits. It is because of this he holds a deep seated hatred towards his creators and is initially wary of any human he comes across. Sheena was able to form a pact with him, and ever since the two have been inseparable. Igaguri Fujibayashi – adoptive grandfather – An elderly man who found Sheena as a baby. He took the girl in as his own and taught Sheena everything she knows, acting as the girl's parental figure throughout her life. He was thoroughly supportive of her when it was discovered she had summoning abilities. Unfortunately, when Sheena failed to make a pact with Volt, Igaguri fell into a coma whilst protecting his adoptive daughter. He remains in this state to this day. Orochi – friend – One of Sheena's childhood friends. His parents accomponied Sheena when she went to make a pact with Volt and died in the process of trying to subdue the enraged Summon Spirit. Orochi was briefly distant to her because of this but he forgave her soon after wards. He is one the few people in Mizuho that treats Sheena kindly. Kuchinawa – friend – Orochi's younger brother. Like Orochi he was also temporarily distant with her after her failure with Volt. It took Kuchinawa longer to forgive Sheena however, but like his brother he has apparently forgiven her. Along with his brother he is also among the few in the village that regard Sheena in a friendly manner. History: Abandoned in a forest by her parents as a baby, Sheena was found and adopted by Igaguri Fujibayashi. Raised in the secluded village known as Mizuho, she was taught how to fight and defend herself from a young age. They were a people specialized in the way of espionage and assassination and had chosen a life that was closed off from contact to the rest of the world around them - save for when they were called upon for their abilities. As the village's leader, Sheena was automatically respected by the villagers from Igagrui's position – though she was determined to make everyone proud of her for her own achievements and not simply ride on the coattails her grandfather's status. It was at the age of seven that Sheena discovered she had the power to summon spirits, an ability that both mystified and unnerved the villagers. Sheena, while enthralled with her new found talent, was slightly nervous at the idea of making pacts with Summon Spirits. No one in Mizuho had ever had been summoner before, thus they had little knowledge on what making exactly pact making entailed. Regardless of this, Sheena did her best to learn every piece of information they had on the art of summoning. Due to Aurem's great abundance of monsters, the village was always on guard for sudden attacks. It was likely because of this so many people were determined to help Sheena form a pact with any Summon Spirit's as soon as possible. If they had a summoner on their side, they might be able to drive the monsters away for good. With this thought planted into their minds, a group of selected villager's accompanied Sheena on her journey to make a pact with the Summon Spirit of Lightning; Volt. Once there, Sheena did her best to recite the lines needed to form a pact. Volt, however, did not respond as they presumed he would. It only gave a crackling sound, and, confused, Sheena tried again - only to be struck by a sudden bolt of lightning in the process. The Summon Spirit gave out another crackling sound and unleashed further bolts of electricity, striking all of those present with a thunderous might. It wasn't until Sheena pried her fingers away from her eyes that she realized she was the only one still conscious, let alone alive. This was only due to the fact that the body of her grandfather stood before her, shielding her from the Summon Spirit's wrath. In his last moments of conciseness, Igaguri made sure to shield Sheena until Volt's wrath subsided. After the incident, Sheena was treated coldly by her fellows. While she was not punished for the incident, the curt words or lack of any acknowledgment was far worse than any type of punishment could have ever been. A vice-chief was put in place of leading the village until Igaguri awoke from his coma, though when or if he ever would still remains debatable today. Stricken with guilt, Sheena dedicated herself into doing anything she could possibly do to make sure Mizuho and it's inhabitants were kept happy, healthy and safe - even though they will likely never show an ounce of appreciation for her efforts. One way or another she would make sure to find out a way to keep the village safe from monster attacks, and maybe, hopefully, make herself into someone the people of Mizuho could be proud of. In the early days of her journeying Sheena stumbled across The Hunter's organization. While she does not share a lot of the organization's general views, Sheena decided to join them due to the groups ability to come and go into cities as they pleased. Not to mention any information they may find or receive regarding monsters was extremely helpful. It was also during this point in time while she was in Opharis that Sheena came across a small laboratory. Having been sent several times to escort the scientists there to and from places within the city, she ended up befriending the workers during her time with them. They revealed that they were running tests on a man-made Summon Spirit, but were having a hard time extracting data from the sample they had created. Struck with a new idea, they asked Sheena to form a pact with the Summon Spirit, curious to see if doing so would alter the specimen in any way. Since the mere thought of trying to make another pact nearly sent the girl into a panic attack, Sheena denied their requests. It was only when they offered her their entire resources of information on Summon Spirits did she eventually relent to their inquires. Somewhat more confident with the new found information tucked under her belt and comforted by the fact the Summon Spirit was kept securely in it's testing capsule, Sheena was able to form a pact with the man-made Summon Spirit. The small Summon Spirit, which was called 'Corrine' by it's creators, was not an entirely pleasant creature to her in the beginning. The fox-like Summon Spirit was rather violent towards Sheena, hissing and spitting should she get too close. Sheena remained cautious of the fact that the small creature was still actually a Summon Spirit, but remained firm in her attempts to befriend him. When Corrine realized Sheena was not going to do anything to him, the two slowly began to learn how to trust one another. Over time their friendship grew stronger and the two became steadfast companions. It is a rare and unusual day when the Summoner is seen without her smaller companion near by. The history all seems plausible enough to me - an excellent adaption of the character~
